2022 Accomplishments

2022 was the Year of the Water Tiger according to the Chinese Zodiac. Just as a tiger represents strength (and sometimes resilience), these two traits also represent our Corpsmembers. Their strength to persist, to learn and to grow is ferocious. Resiliency, well, that makes it all gel. Our young people served their communities, worked diligently, provided key services where they were most needed and learned as much as they could this year. It's a good time to be CCLB!

OUR IMPACT

The Puente Hills Habitat Reserve provided an opportunity for Corpsmembers to work on fire fuel reduction and road/trail accessibility for firefighters, rangers and hikers. With the influx of wildfires due to climate change in California, this work is more important than ever.
